Available on limited edition blue cassette, this is Mega Emotion's first proper single, released on Post/Pop Records.
To get both tracks - Uncomfortable and La Isla Bonita - you need to order the physical cassette (which comes with both downloads)!
Due to licensing restrictions, only Uncomfortable is available as a standalone digital download.
Norwich trio Mega Emotion release their debut single “Uncomfortable” on 19 January via Post/Pop Records. The track is a heady blend of post punk, stark electronics and synth-laden pop hooks. Inspired by bands like New Order, Metronomy, Chvrches and Kraftwerk, they wanted to create dance music whilst still retaining the rawness of bands like Sonic Youth or the Pixies.
Since forming in late 2013, Mega Emotion have won Steve Lamacq’s Roundtable on BBC 6 Music, seen their demo material play-listed as a 6 Music Recommends track of the week, and been championed on XFM and by BBC Introducing.
Live, they have played for John Kennedy’s Remedy showcase in London, and supported the likes of Dan Croll, Thumpers and Yuck.
Their debut single is being released on cassette by Post/Pop Records – who have released cassette tracks by Everything Everything, Pulled Apart By Horses, Ash, Johnny Foreigner and We Are Scientists.
